A week on a boat to discover Ponza and Ischia.
The journey begins in a private dock where you can also park for free.

Guests can sleep on board, in a defined "nautical camping" manner. Inside the boat there is a triangular bed for two, 200 cm x 195 cm, and another rectangular bed for two, 120 cm x 200 cm. The cockpit closes with special awnings and offers a bed for two of about 190 cm x 130 cm. The skipper sleeps in the cockpit on a single chaise-long. The bathroom is unique, with a shower, and a second open shower is available aft. The water on board is cold, and is integrated at sunset with 20 liters of hot water obtained from the solar shower, to obtain altogether warm water.

The Motor boat is a new “Saver 750 cabin”, built in 2018, and equipped with a outboard engine 300 hp Yamaha (2018). The normal speed is 24 knots, and the maximum speed is 38 knots, so we can move between an island and the next in 1/1.5 hours. Total route is almost 140 nautic miles, and it needs almost 280 litres of fuel.

We can choose if we spend the night inside the harbour (almost 100 euro per night) or in some protected bay (for free obviously!), but we need 2 nights minimum inside the harbour, during the week. It is possibile to sleep in B&B if you need a night on land (cost at your own expense). It’s possibile to cook on board, and have time to buy local food.

We start from a nice private dock in San Felice Circeo, and we join the Islands of Palmarola and Ponza for 1st and 2nd day of trip. We visit also the caves of Faraglione di Mezzogiorno in Palmarola and the ancient roman caves of Pilato in Ponza.

Then we leave to Ventotene in the 3rd day, where we visit the roman harbour, the beautiful beaches and the little island of Santo Stefano, protected sea area. The 4th day we join the wonderful harbour of Sant’Angelo d’Ischia and the famous beach of Maronti. After a good tour of the island of Ischia in the 5th day, we use the 6th and 7th day to retrace the route of outward journey and visit more of that until we return to our dock in San Felice Circeo. the route may undergo variations based on the weather conditions.
